Why buy a
custom computer? |

If your here at our web site reading
this, we will assume your looking for something better in a computer,
or you may have some specific needs in the computer you are looking to
purchase that the other companies do not offer. You also may be new to
computers and want to know why buying a custom computer would be
better than buying an off the shelf computer system from a superstore or one of
those brand name computers you see advertised on TV. |

The advertising done now days on computers is
very misleading, and we would like to take this opportunity to explain what
your really buying. Most of these computer systems were talking about are proprietary in some way, and will be more costly to
repair in the future. What do we mean proprietary? There are certain
parts in these computers that are not as upgradeable as you think,
and after warranty runs out will cost you
more in repairs than the computer is worth. If you would like to
repair your computer, you will have to buy the
parts from them at a ridiculously high price, which is how
they make their money. The only other choice is you can go buy another new computer. Do you
really want to spend your hard earned money on a disposable computer?

Their systems also come with restore software
and not the original windows system CD. Some brands don't include restore
cd's. The restore is on the hard drive of the computer. The restore software is nice for if
you have problem and need to restore your computer software to fix a
problem yourself. But what they don't tell you is it will only work on that
computer. It is also less expensive for them to give you a restore CD instead of
giving you the original windows operating CD. For example, if the
motherboard fails in your computer, and you don't want to pay their
ridiculous price for a replacement part. You find a computer repair shop
that can replace it with a different motherboard for a reasonable price. But
now guess what? Your restore software will not work anymore, so you would
also have to buy a windows operating system CD.
Another example is some computers do not come
with restore cd's, the restore is actually stored in a second partition on
the hard drive. If the hard drive fails you will lose everything, and once
you replace your hard drive you can not restore your software.

When you buy from a superstore, generally
after 30 days, your stuck dealing with the manufacturer for warranty and
support, unless you buy their extended warranty. We say, why should you have
to buy an extended warranty to get your computer serviced from where you
bought it from? The manufacture wants to charge you for technical support
after your warranty runs out. We offer free lifetime technical support with all

from leading manufactures and often come with manufacture warranties of 2 to
3 years. What this means to you is high quality equals high performance. The
system components we use are high quality and offer higher performance, and
will last longer. You will not find this quality or warranty in any of the store
bought computer systems.

the original windows system CD, and uses well known brand name

couple dollars more, but they will last longer and if you should need to
repair it after warranty runs out, it will cost you a lot less in

future, you'll be able to upgrade your system keeping up with
current technology, without buying a new system, which will also
